This event is being organized by Kim of KC Bakes, along with Adri of Maskipops.by.Adri, Ella of Lollicakes by Ella and Nicole of Bella's Bakery & Bowtique.
Come join us at Doug's Downtown Grill for a day of fun, friendship and discussion, as well as ideas and issues relevant to us all in the cake pop community.

Karyn Granrud is the photographer, recipe developer and author at PintSizedBaker.com & DietersDownfall.com. Angie Perez is the talented baker behind O Pops by Angie. Angie started making cake pops 3.5 years ago; her amazing creations became so popular that she was able to quit her job to make cake pops full time. FB: O Pops by Angie IG: @opopsbyangie
Pam Genio-Bates is the sole cake baller at Cake Ball Love & is best known for her cake ball cakes and ruffle cake pops. Her work has been featured on Hostess with the Mostess, Style Me Pretty, 100 Layer Cake, Wedding Chicks and Exquisite Weddings Magazine. Yuki Underwood is the cake pop maker and instructor behind Creative Edibles by Yuki. Known for her incredible chocolate pipking skills, Yuki travels throughout the U.S. and abroad teaching cake pop classes from beginner to intermediate. FB: Creative Edibles by Yuki IG: @creativeediblesbyyuki
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Registration will open on Monday, September 9th at 2:00pm EST / 11:00am PST.
Criteria for Attendees
Due to a limited number of tickets available, OCCPMU entry preference will be given to California residentes and experienced cake poppers. Tickets are limited to 1 person per baking company. Guests are not permitted unless expressly approved by organizer.
per person – the OCCPMU ticket price includes:
- Admission for attendee to OCCPMU
- Discussion panel with well-known cake poppers
- Swag bag for each attendee
- Raffle prizes
- Cake pop chatter & more!
Tickets are non-transferable and subject to a processing fee.
We will be unable to offer any refunds after October 11, 2013 (no exceptions).
If tickets sell out, a waiting list will automatically be started. If there are any cancellations, we will contact those on the waiting list in the order in which they signed up.

Kim Celano is a baker, blogger and founder of KC Bakes. As a cake pop enthusiast, her blog is dedicated to cake pop tutorials, featuring other cake pop makers and providing a place to connect the cake pop community. KC Bakes cake pop stands have been used by Bakerella on her blog, purchased by restaurants, featured on numerous websites and have been shipped all over the world – US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and most recently, Dubai. Adrienne Pioquinto is a work-at-home mom during the day and a cake pop artist at night. It wasn't until her day-to-day routine yearned for a creative outlet (and going through tough financial times) that she found her niche in the cake pop industry with maskipops by adri. Adri's work has been featured on Amy Atlas, Hostess with the Mostess & Kara's Party Ideas with events by Whimsically Detailed, Banner Events & Ellen Bessette Events. Her bling sticks are available on her Etsy shop as well as Sprinkles N Stuff Decorating Supplies in Torrance. Ella Vincelette is a stay-at-home mom and has been a full-time cake popper for the last four years; she hates to bake but loves to decorate. Ella has slowly been transitioning to making silicone molds full-time, for her business, Lollicakes by Ella. Ella’s molds, which are specially sized for cake pops, are carried by Sprinkles N Stuff and Kake Kreations, and sold on her Facebook page. Nicole Ambata is a former account coordinator, SAH Mom & Wife, Baker and Bow maker. She made her first cake pop 2 years ago August and has been in love with them ever since. Nicole is currently in two Fall issue magazines (Occasions Magazine & Everyday Party Magazine), had a party featured on Kara's Party Ideas, and has worked with many event stylists including Banner Events, Capes & Crowns, DolceBliss and Laura's Little Party.
